The MAPS 4 budget has allocated $17 million to construct the Civil Rights Museum in Oklahoma City. The center aims to help Oklahomans learn about the role Oklahoma City played in the national civil rights movement.

Future plans for the campus include a café, a welcome center, and hosting events to further educate visitors about the contributions of Clara Luper and the city’s involvement in the civil rights movement.
